Chasing hard problems with AI

Five years building production systems for Disney and Aeroméxico — not just UI, but the architecture underneath it. Microfrontend platforms, Backend for Frontend services, microservices integration, API design. I know how the frontend consumes backend systems, which means I know exactly what makes a backend painful to work with. Now I'm moving to the other side: Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker, systems-level architecture. The kind of hard problems that don't have a clear answers — the kind of work I came into this industry wanting to solve.

I'm drawn to teams where craft and hard problems coexist. Good abstractions, low latency, contracts that hold — the things that make or break a system quietly. I want to build backend that's fast, reliable, and doesn't become someone else's problem six months later.

Outside of work I'm building Medixio, an AI agent for chronic care, and relearning math from the ground up.

Globant — Aeroméxico

May 2025 – Present

Rebuilding the Aeroméxico web platform flow by flow, replacing a legacy monolith with a microfrontend architecture built to let multiple teams ship independently.

Designed the microfrontend architecture, Module Federation + single page applications, so teams could deploy their slice without waiting on a central release.
Built a Backend for Frontend to give the frontend a clean entry point into Aeroméxico's scattered internal microservices.
Created and maintained the core npm library: Design System, shared state, and cross-MFE logic every team depended on.
Introduced AI workflows to automate conventions and review patterns, cutting the overhead of keeping a multi-team codebase aligned.

Dec 2022 – May 2025

Built an internal tool used by Disney financial planners to schedule releases across FX, Nat Geo, and other Disney-owned networks from an economic perspective.

Cut planner research and coordination time in half by consolidating data across Disney companies.
Maintained the shared design system and component library used across multiple projects.
Drove architecture decisions, negotiated API contracts with backend, and owned workload distribution.

Jul 2021 – Dec 2022

Built the admin platform for Growie, a blockchain-based real estate investment product, and set up the CMS powering its marketing content.

Shipped the admin site that powered Growie's real estate investment operations.
Set up a Strapi CMS so the marketing team could update content without opening a ticket.

Built the frontend for Menu Digital, a QR-code digital menu and online ordering platform for restaurants.

Implemented the promotions and ordering flows end-to-end in React.
